Novameta Swing Lock A-VT-U1 for Professional Trolleys

A swing lock holds a trolley securely in place while it is loaded, unloaded or moved between workstations. The A-VT-U1 is a single-side mechanism: one lever or catch pivots outward, allowing the trolley to be released or locked without tools. This design keeps the trolley stable during transport and prevents accidental opening when the unit is in motion.

To use the lock, the operator aligns the trolley with the docking point. The lever is then swung into the closed position, where it engages with the corresponding slot or bracket on the trolley frame. Once locked, the trolley remains fixed until the lever is deliberately released. The process is reversed for removal: the lever is swung open, freeing the trolley so it can be wheeled away.

The A-VT-U1 is constructed as a swing lock mounted on one side of the trolley frame. It is compatible with Novameta trolleys VTGN, VTGZ, VTT and VTB, excluding double trolleys in the VTGN-VTGD range. No additional parts or modifications are required for installation on the listed models.

Cleaning is limited to the exposed surfaces of the lock. A damp cloth removes dust and grease; abrasive cleaners or solvents are not needed. Regular inspection ensures the lever moves freely and the catch remains secure.
