A solid work surface built to hold plastic cutting boards up to 400 mm wide, this Novameta table provides a stable, hygienic base for food preparation in busy catering kitchens. The table relies on a welded stainless-steel frame that carries the weight of the board and the ingredients being chopped. Four adjustable feet allow the operator to level the surface on uneven floors, preventing the board from shifting during use. The feet move through a range that compensates for most floor irregularities, keeping the worktop flat and steady. To use the table, the operator places a plastic cutting board of either 300 mm or 400 mm width onto the reinforced top. The board rests directly on the table surface, held in place by the raised frame edges. Once the board is positioned, the operator can begin chopping, slicing or dicing without the board sliding or tipping. After use, the board lifts away for cleaning, leaving the table surface clear for other tasks or for sanitising. Construction centres on a heavy-duty welded frame of stainless-steel tubes in 40×40 mm for the legs and 40×20 mm or 25×25 mm for the cross-bracing. The table top itself is reinforced to support the weight of the board and the pressure of cutting. Adjustable feet are made of stainless steel and can be raised or lowered to level the table. The table accepts plastic cutting boards in two thicknesses—20 mm or 30 mm—allowing the kitchen to choose the depth that suits the volume of work. No boards are supplied with the table; they must be ordered separately to match the kitchen's requirements. Overall dimensions of 1900 mm length, 700 mm width and 900 mm height give the table a footprint that fits standard worktop runs while leaving enough space for the operator to move around. The width can be ordered in 800 mm, 900 mm or 1000 mm variants, each with a small tolerance to allow for manufacturing. Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless-steel frame and top can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitiser, and the plastic cutting board is removed and washed separately. The stainless-steel feet let you fine-tune the height so the board sits flush with your existing counters, keeping every chopping motion smooth and strain-free.
