A stainless steel worktop designed to position dishwasher baskets in a continuous line, bridging the gap between manual scraping and the dishwasher's loading zone. The table holds baskets at a fixed height and spacing, so staff slide them forward without lifting, reducing strain and speeding the transfer of soiled crockery into the machine.
The surface is a flat, uninterrupted plane that collects scraps and drips while the baskets sit on raised guides. These guides are aligned with the dishwasher's rack dimensions, ensuring each basket enters the machine at the correct point without jamming or misalignment. The table itself does not heat, cool or move; it is a static staging area that organises the flow of dishes into the wash cycle.
To use, staff scrape plates onto the worktop, stack them into the baskets, and slide the baskets along the guides until the first one reaches the dishwasher's loading position. Once the machine door opens, the basket is pushed in, and the next basket in line moves forward. The sequence repeats until all baskets are loaded, keeping the dishwasher fed at a steady pace without pauses or double-handling.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for hygiene and resistance to moisture and cleaning chemicals. The table stands on adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors, and the guides are welded to the surface for stability. No electrical or plumbing connections are required, so the unit can be positioned anywhere between the wash-up area and the dishwasher.
The 1200 mm length provides space for eight baskets in a single row, matching the throughput of medium to large dishwashers. The 700 mm depth keeps the table within reach for staff standing on one side, while the 900 mm height aligns with standard worktop levels in professional kitchens, allowing seamless integration with adjacent counters and sinks.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surface and guides with a damp cloth and detergent after each service period. The absence of moving parts or electrical components simplifies maintenance, and the open design allows easy access for thorough sanitisation.
