A stainless-steel worktop with an integrated sink and supporting frame forms a continuous surface between food preparation and commercial dishwashing. The unit stands at standard worktop height, allowing staff to slide racks of soiled crockery straight from the sink into the adjacent dishwasher without lifting or carrying.
The worktop itself is a flat, uninterrupted plane that collects plates, cutlery and glassware from service. A deep sink inset into the surface provides a pre-rinse station where food debris is flushed away before items enter the dishwasher. The sink's rim sits flush with the surrounding worktop, so racks can be pushed across without obstruction. Below the worktop, a rigid frame of welded square tubing carries the weight of stacked racks and prevents the unit from flexing under load.
To use the table, staff scrape large food waste into a bin, then place items in the sink for a quick rinse under the tap. Once clean of loose debris, the items are transferred to dishwasher racks and slid across the worktop into the dishwasher's entry door. The process eliminates the need to carry racks between separate stations, reducing handling time and the risk of breakage.
Construction is entirely in stainless steel for corrosion resistance and hygiene. The worktop and sink are formed from a single sheet, eliminating seams where dirt could collect. The frame is welded and ground smooth, with no crevices that could harbour bacteria. All exposed edges are rounded to prevent cuts and ease cleaning.
The unit measures 1100 mm in length, 700 mm in width and 900 mm in height, matching the standard height of commercial dishwashers and most kitchen worktops. The footprint allows it to sit directly against the dishwasher, creating a seamless workflow from sink to machine.
Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth stainless-steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each service. The sink is brushed out to remove food particles, and the tap is run to flush the drain. The frame is wiped where it contacts racks, and the feet are checked periodically to ensure the table remains level.
