A stainless steel worktable built to streamline the dishwashing process in a professional kitchen, combining a solid worktop, an integrated sink and a lower shelf in one fixed unit. The table stands between the dishwasher and the dirty-dish drop point, giving staff a dedicated space to scrape, rinse and stack plates before they enter the machine and again as they come out clean. The continuous surface eliminates the need to carry racks across the kitchen, reducing trips and spills.
The worktop itself is the primary work surface: staff scrape food waste into a bin below, rinse dishes under a tap mounted over the sink, and stack them on the same flat plane. The sink bowl is inset into the worktop, allowing water to drain directly into the waste pipe without running across the floor. A lower shelf, positioned just above floor level, holds clean racks ready for reloading or dirty racks waiting for the next wash cycle. The shelf also doubles as temporary storage for detergent, rinse aid and cleaning tools, keeping them within reach but off the main work surface.
Operation is straightforward: dirty dishes are placed on the worktop, scraped, rinsed in the sink, then loaded into racks on the shelf below. Once the dishwasher cycle finishes, clean racks are pulled from the machine onto the same shelf, and plates are unloaded onto the worktop for drying or immediate use. The fixed height of the table matches standard dishwasher racks, so staff lift racks straight across without bending or tilting.
Construction is entirely in stainless steel, chosen for hygiene, corrosion resistance and durability under constant water exposure. The worktop, sink and shelf are welded into a single frame, eliminating seams where dirt could collect. The unit stands on adjustable feet, allowing the table to be levelled on uneven floors and raised or lowered to align with adjacent equipment.
The 1500 mm length provides enough linear space for two staff to work side by side during peak service, one scraping and rinsing while the other loads or unloads racks. The 700 mm depth keeps everything within arm's reach, and the 900 mm height is standard for standing work in commercial kitchens, reducing fatigue during long shifts.
Cleaning follows from the materials and construction: the stainless steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each service, and the sink is scrubbed to prevent scale build-up. The undershelf is emptied and wiped daily to remove any spills or debris. Adjustable feet are checked periodically to ensure the table remains stable and level.
