A stainless steel worktable built to bridge the gap between manual washing and mechanical dishwashing in a professional kitchen. The unit combines a flat worktop for stacking soiled dishes, an integrated sink for pre-rinsing, and a lower shelf for holding clean racks ready to load into the dishwasher. This layout keeps the dirty-to-clean flow linear, so staff move dishes forward without back-tracking or crossing paths.
The table itself is a rigid frame clad in stainless steel sheet. The worktop is a single flat plane that resists dents and corrosion; the sink is welded in, so there are no seams to trap food debris. A shelf beneath the worktop provides storage at waist height, keeping racks within easy reach while the operator stands upright. The entire assembly is supported on adjustable feet, so the unit can be levelled on uneven floors and moved short distances without lifting.
Operation follows the dishwashing sequence. Soiled dishes are placed on the worktop, pre-rinsed in the sink, then transferred to racks on the shelf. When the rack is full, it is slid directly into the adjacent dishwasher. The 2200 mm length gives enough space for two operators to work side by side during peak service, one rinsing and one racking.
The 700 mm depth keeps the unit within arm's reach across the worktop, while the 900 mm height matches standard worktop levels in commercial kitchens. The footprint of 2200 × 700 mm fits between existing equipment without requiring structural changes to the kitchen layout.
Cleaning is limited to the surfaces described. The worktop and shelf are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each service. The sink is scrubbed with a non-abrasive pad and rinsed to prevent scale build-up. Adjustable feet are checked periodically to ensure the unit remains stable and level.
