A seamless stainless steel work surface designed to sit atop the Novameta Module 500 framework, creating a hygienic and durable workstation for professional kitchens. The flat, rigid top provides a stable platform for food preparation, plating, or holding equipment without flexing under load.
Table tops of this type serve as the primary work area in modular catering stations. Their solid construction prevents warping, resists corrosion from food acids and cleaning chemicals, and allows rapid sanitisation between tasks. The material's thermal properties also help maintain consistent temperatures when hot pans or chilled ingredients are placed directly on the surface.
To install, the table top is lowered onto the Module 500 frame, aligning with the pre-drilled fixing points. No additional tools are required for securing, as the weight of the top and any loaded equipment keeps it firmly in place during use. The operator can then arrange utensils, ingredients, or small appliances directly on the surface, with the low 40 mm height ensuring comfortable reach without strain.
Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, the top is formed from a single sheet with no seams or welds, eliminating crevices where debris could collect. The 500 mm depth and 700 mm width provide sufficient space for multiple tasks while fitting within standard worktop depths. The 40 mm thickness balances rigidity with a low profile, allowing the top to integrate seamlessly with adjacent modules or worktops.
The uncoated stainless steel surface requires only routine wiping with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove food residues. For deeper cleaning, non-abrasive pads can be used without damaging the finish. The material's resistance to staining and discolouration ensures the worktop retains its appearance even after prolonged exposure to oils, sauces, and cleaning agents.
This table top is part of the Novameta Module 500 system, designed for compatibility with other components in the range.
