A worktop-height support that raises catering appliances off the floor and levels them on uneven surfaces. The stand does not move food or heat it; it provides a stable, hygienic platform so that mixers, slicers, processors or heated wells sit at the right working height and do not rock or slide during use.
The frame is welded from stainless steel tube, giving a rigid structure that carries the weight of the appliance and any food loaded into it. Four adjustable feet at the corners let the operator compensate for sloping floors; each foot can be raised or lowered independently to keep the top surface perfectly horizontal. Anti-slide corners on the top surface grip the feet of the appliance, preventing it from shifting when the machine vibrates or when the operator loads or unloads it.
To assemble, the operator places the stand where the appliance is to be used. The feet are adjusted one by one until the top surface is level, checked with a spirit level or by eye. The appliance is then lifted onto the stand, centred over the anti-slide corners, and connected to power or water as required. Once in place, the stand requires no further adjustment unless the appliance is moved or the floor level changes.
The frame is made of stainless steel tube 40 mm by 40 mm, welded at the joints for strength. The adjustable feet are also stainless steel, with a threaded rod that screws into the frame. The anti-slide corners are plastic pads 100 mm square, fixed to the top surface of the stand.
The stand is controlled entirely by the adjustable feet; each foot is turned by hand to raise or lower that corner. No tools are needed for adjustment, and the feet lock in place once set.
A maximum load of 120 kg per shelf means the stand can support heavy-duty appliances such as planetary mixers or heated display wells, provided the weight is spread evenly across the surface. The footprint of 400 mm by 650 mm fits under most countertop appliances, leaving space for ventilation and for the operator to reach the controls. The height of 500 mm brings the appliance to a comfortable working level for most operators, reducing strain on the back and arms.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure they are tight and not loose. The anti-slide corners can be removed for cleaning if necessary, though they are designed to resist food spills and grease.
The stand is supplied with either standard adjustable feet (65 mm amplitude) or heavy-duty adjustable feet (40 mm amplitude), depending on the model ordered. Both versions have the same load capacity and footprint, and both are suitable for use in professional kitchens.
The Novameta Universal Stand 400-65 is listed in the catalogue under Worktop Accessories, alongside other supports and stands for catering equipment.
