A wall-mounted stainless steel table provides a fixed work surface that clears floor space in a professional kitchen. The unit bolts directly to the wall structure, transferring the weight of food, utensils and equipment through the frame rather than resting on legs. This arrangement leaves the floor underneath free for cleaning or for mobile trolleys to pass, and it removes the risk of a leg being knocked or obstructed.
The table top is a pressed sandwich panel: two thin stainless steel sheets bonded to a core of sound-absorbing material. This construction dampens vibration and reduces noise when metal pans or trays are set down, while the smooth surface allows quick wipe-down between tasks. A welded stainless steel tube frame runs beneath the top, giving the table its rigidity and supporting the full 120 kg load when weight is spread evenly across the surface.
To use the table, the operator secures it to the wall at the required height, ensuring the fixings penetrate solid masonry or a suitable steel stud. Once mounted, the table is ready to receive food containers, chopping boards, small appliances or mise-en-place trays. The optional upstand along the back edge stops items sliding off and can act as a backsplash to contain minor spills.
Construction is entirely in stainless steel: the pressed sandwich top, the welded tube frame and the optional upstand. The frame tubes measure between 25 mm and 50 mm in section, chosen to balance strength and weight for wall mounting. Two widths are available: 650 mm with a 3% manufacturing tolerance, and 700 mm with a 5% tolerance.
The table's overall dimensions of 1600 mm length, 600 mm depth and 750 mm height set the space it occupies on the wall and the working area it provides. A 1600 mm run allows two chefs to work side by side without crowding, while the 600 mm depth keeps everything within easy reach. The 750 mm height is standardised for standing work, matching the height of most hobs and sinks to create a continuous worktop.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless steel top and frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry to prevent water marks. The pressed sandwich construction has no seams or crevices where food debris can lodge, and the welded frame eliminates joints that could trap grease. If the optional upstand is fitted, clean it in the same way, paying attention to the angle where it meets the top.
Two variants are offered: with or without the upstand. The table is listed in the Novameta catalogue under mounted work surfaces for professional kitchens.
