A wall-mounted worktop that adjusts in height gives a professional kitchen a fixed station that can be raised or lowered to suit different tasks or operators. The unit bolts to the wall structure, removing the need for legs or a base unit and freeing the floor underneath for cleaning or storage. Height adjustment is mechanical, using a counterbalanced system that holds the worktop securely at the chosen level without power or hydraulics.

The worktop surface is split into two stainless steel platens, each sized to hold standard gastronorm trays or prep containers. These platens sit on a rigid frame that slides vertically along wall-mounted rails. The operator lifts or lowers the frame by hand, using a lever or crank mechanism that multiplies the effort, so the weight of the worktop and any load on it is easily managed. Once the desired height is reached, the mechanism locks automatically, keeping the worktop stable during use.

To use the worktop, the operator first sets the height for the task or for their own comfort. The platens are then loaded with trays, bowls or ingredients. The open space beneath the worktop remains clear, allowing trolleys or cleaning equipment to pass through. When the task is finished, the platens are unloaded and the worktop can be raised to its highest position to clear the floor for deep cleaning.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, with a welded frame and adjustable mounting brackets for levelling. The platens are removable for cleaning, and the wall rails are designed to be wiped down without disassembly. The unit's footprint of 2800 mm by 600 mm fits along a standard kitchen wall, and the 760 mm height at its lowest setting allows comfortable use by seated or standing operators.

The adjustable height means the worktop can be set for chopping, rolling pastry, assembling dishes or plating. The wall mounting keeps the floor clear, reducing trip hazards and making it easier to maintain hygiene standards in a busy kitchen environment.
