A wall-mounted taunt table provides a rigid, stable work surface that does not sag under load, even when only the front edge is supported. The pressed sandwich construction of the tabletop combines two thin sheets of stainless steel with a core of sound-absorbing material. This method dampens vibration and reduces noise from chopping, rolling or placing heavy containers, while the solid core prevents the top from flexing when weight is concentrated at the centre or along the unsupported front edge.

The operator loads the tabletop evenly across its length, up to the stated maximum. Items are placed directly on the surface or on cutting boards, trays or pans that rest on it. No additional support is needed at the front; the welded stainless steel frame transfers the load to the wall brackets and into the building structure. The table remains level and quiet under use, with no bounce or tilt.

The tabletop is formed from a single pressed panel, eliminating seams where dirt could collect. The frame is made of 25 mm by 50 mm stainless steel tube, welded at each joint for strength. An optional upstand can be fitted along the back edge to prevent spills from running onto the wall or floor. The unit is fixed to the wall with brackets supplied separately, allowing the installer to choose the height and position that suit the kitchen layout.

The 1600 mm length provides a continuous work surface for tasks that require space, such as rolling pastry, assembling large platters or organising multiple ingredients. The 600 mm depth allows items to be placed within easy reach without overhanging the front edge. The 750 mm height matches standard worktop levels, aligning with adjacent counters, hobs and sinks for a seamless workflow. The 120 kg maximum load capacity accommodates heavy equipment like mixers, bain-maries or stacks of plates without risk of deformation.

Cleaning is straightforward: the pressed sandwich top can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser, with no grooves or joints to trap residue. The stainless steel frame and upstand, where fitted, are cleaned in the same way. The tabletop's smooth surface allows items to be slid across it without scratching, and the sound-absorbing core reduces noise from dropped utensils or moving containers.

Available in two widths: 650 mm with a 3% tolerance or 700 mm with a 5% tolerance, both maintaining the same 1600 mm length and 750 mm height. The table can be ordered with or without the upstand, allowing customisation for specific kitchen requirements.
