A wall-mounted taunt table provides a rigid, level work surface that is fixed to the kitchen wall, eliminating legs on one side and freeing floor space beneath. The tabletop is held under tension between two end supports, creating a flat plane that resists sagging even when fully loaded. This design allows staff to work close to the wall without obstruction, while the open underside simplifies cleaning and leaves room for mobile racks or bins to be rolled underneath.
The operator positions the table at the required height during installation, then loads the top evenly with food, utensils or small appliances up to the stated capacity. Because the surface is fixed, there is no adjustment once mounted; the height is chosen to match adjacent worktops, hobs or sinks for a continuous workflow. The pressed sandwich construction absorbs minor impacts and dampens vibration from nearby equipment, reducing noise in a busy kitchen.
The table is supplied with or without an upstand, a vertical lip at the rear edge that prevents spills from running onto the floor. The welded stainless steel frame, formed from 25 × 50 mm tube, carries the load directly to the wall fixings, so the table remains stable without floor supports. A uniform load of 120 kg across the 2800 mm length is supported without deflection, allowing heavy mixing bowls, slicers or bain-maries to be placed anywhere on the surface.
The pressed sandwich top is wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The open underside and absence of legs allow the floor beneath to be swept or mopped without moving the table. The stainless steel frame requires only occasional wiping to remove splashes and maintain its appearance.
Two widths are available: 650 mm and 700 mm, each with the same 2800 mm length and 750 mm height. The table is positioned in the catalogue under wall-mounted preparation surfaces, alongside other fixed-height worktops for professional catering environments.
