A wall-mounted taunted table creates a fixed work surface that frees floor space in a busy kitchen. The tabletop is secured directly to the wall at one side and supported by legs or a welded frame at the front, so there is no central leg to obstruct trolleys or feet. This arrangement keeps the area beneath the table clear for cleaning and allows staff to stand close to the wall without bending awkwardly. The tabletop is a pressed sandwich panel, a construction that combines a rigid core with stainless steel sheets on both faces. This method gives a flat, stable surface that resists warping under heavy loads and dampens noise from chopping, mixing or placing equipment. The welded stainless steel frame transfers the weight of the tabletop and its contents to the floor, while the wall fixing prevents the unit from tipping forward. To use the table, position it against the wall at the required height and secure the wall brackets. The front legs or frame are then bolted to the floor. Once fixed, the tabletop can be loaded with appliances, ingredients or utensils up to the stated capacity. The optional upstand at the back prevents items from sliding off and protects the wall from splashes. Construction is stainless steel throughout: the tabletop sandwich, the 25 × 50 mm tubular frame and the wall brackets. The frame is welded for strength and finished with smooth joints to avoid trapping dirt. The tabletop is pressed in one piece, so there are no seams to harbour bacteria. The table is supplied in a length of 1700 mm and a depth of 600 mm, giving a work surface of just over one square metre. The height of 750 mm is standard for a standing worktop in professional kitchens. The maximum load of 120 kg allows the table to support heavy appliances such as mixers, slicers or bain-maries, provided the weight is distributed evenly across the surface. Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The pressed sandwich top has no crevices, and the welded frame has no sharp corners or hidden gaps. The optional upstand can be removed for thorough cleaning behind the table. The narrower width tucks neatly against a wall, freeing floor space for kitchen traffic while the wider version bridges gaps between appliances without crowding the worktop. The 650 mm version is the standard model; the 700 mm version is supplied at a small additional cost. The table is listed in the Novameta catalogue under worktops and preparation surfaces, wall-mounted section.
