A wall-mounted taunted table creates a fixed work surface that clears floor space beneath, leaving the area free for mobile racks, bins or cleaning access. The tabletop is fixed directly to the wall at the back and supported by legs or a frame at the front, so the weight of food, utensils and equipment rests on the building structure rather than the kitchen floor. This arrangement keeps the worktop stable and level, even when the load is uneven or shifting during food preparation.

The tabletop is a pressed sandwich panel: two sheets of metal bonded to a core of insulation or structural material. This construction resists warping, absorbs vibration and keeps the surface flat under heavy or concentrated loads. The frame is welded from stainless steel tube, which gives strength without adding bulk and allows the table to be wiped down quickly after use.

To use the table, the operator loads ingredients, tools or finished dishes directly onto the worktop. The 1900 mm length provides a continuous run for multiple stations or large trays, while the 600 mm depth keeps everything within easy reach. The table can be ordered with or without an upstand, a raised edge that stops spills and rolling items from falling off the back. The upstand is fixed to the rear of the worktop and runs the full length, so it does not interfere with front access or under-table clearance.

The frame is made from 25 × 50 mm stainless steel tube, welded into a rigid rectangle that supports the tabletop and transfers the load to the floor. The welded joints eliminate movement and make the frame easy to clean. The tabletop is rated for a uniform load of 120 kg, which allows it to hold bulk ingredients, stacked trays or heavy equipment without sagging or shifting.

The 1900 mm length suits large kitchens where space is organised for high-volume production, while the 600 mm depth keeps the work surface within arm's reach. The 750 mm height is standardised for standing work, matching the height of most hobs, sinks and other worktops so the operator can slide items across without lifting. The wall-mounted design leaves the floor clear, making it easier to sweep, mop or move mobile equipment underneath.

Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel frame and pressed sandwich top can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser. The welded construction has no crevices where food debris can collect, and the absence of legs or cross-braces at floor level removes obstacles to thorough cleaning.

Two widths are available: 650 mm with a 3% tolerance and 700 mm with a 5% tolerance. The choice of width does not affect the overall length or height, so the table can be matched to existing worktop runs or fitted into tight spaces.

The table is listed in the Novameta catalogue under work surfaces and preparation tables.
