A wall-mounted worktable creates a fixed preparation surface that frees floor space and keeps ingredients within reach. The unit bolts directly to the wall structure, transferring the load to the building rather than to the floor. This method eliminates legs and cross-bracing, leaving the area underneath clear for cleaning or for mobile equipment to roll in and out. The tabletop itself is a pressed sandwich panel: two thin metal sheets bonded to a core of rigid insulation. The sandwich construction resists warping under heat and moisture, stays quieter than solid sheet metal when tools are set down, and provides a slight cushion that reduces glass breakage and knife wear.
The operator loads the worktop evenly up to the stated capacity, arranges cutting boards, mixers or hot pans, and works without the table shifting or sagging. A welded stainless-steel frame runs beneath the top, formed from square-section tubing. The frame is fixed to the wall at multiple points, distributing the weight across the fixings and preventing any single point from bearing too much load. If an upstand is fitted, it rises at the back of the table to contain spills and to shield the wall from splashes.
Construction is stainless-steel tubing for the frame and pressed sandwich panel for the tabletop. The frame tubing measures 25 mm square, with wall thickness varying between 25 mm and 50 mm for different load paths. The worktop width is 600 mm as standard, with a 650 mm option available. An upstand can be added or omitted according to the kitchen layout.
The table requires no controls; its function is purely mechanical. The 2500 mm length provides a continuous run for large-scale preparation, while the 600 mm depth keeps everything within arm's reach without overhanging into the aisle. A 120 kg load rating means the table can hold bulk ingredients, stacked trays or heavy appliances without deflection. The 750 mm height matches standard worktop levels, aligning with adjacent units for a seamless workflow. The welded frame ensures the unit arrives as a single piece, reducing on-site assembly to wall fixing only.
Cleaning follows from the materials: wipe the stainless-steel frame and upstand with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the pressed sandwich top can be cleaned the same way, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the surface. The absence of legs and cross-bracing leaves the floor underneath fully accessible for mopping.
Variants include the 650 mm or 700 mm worktop width and the option of an upstand.
