The tabletop is a pressed sandwich panel: two sheets of stainless steel with a core of sound-absorbing material. This construction dampens vibration and reduces noise when pots, pans or metal utensils are moved across the surface. The welded stainless steel frame is made from rectangular tube, giving the unit strength without adding unnecessary weight. The frame supports the tabletop and the grid shelf, and it also provides fixing points for the wall brackets.

To install the worktop, the operator marks the fixing points on the wall, drills and plugs the holes, then bolts the unit in place.
