A wall-mounted stainless steel worktop creates a fixed preparation surface that clears floor space beneath. The tabletop is secured to the wall at the required height, leaving the area below free for trolleys, bins or foot traffic. A grid shelf mounted under the tabletop provides additional storage for light items, keeping them within easy reach without cluttering the main work surface.
The tabletop is a pressed sandwich panel: two sheets of stainless steel enclosing a solid core. This construction resists bending under load and dampens vibration, so the surface stays level and quiet even when heavy containers are moved across it. The welded frame is made of rectangular stainless steel tube, which combines strength with a clean profile that is easy to wipe down. The frame is fixed to the wall with brackets, transferring the weight of the table and its load directly to the building structure rather than to the floor.
To use the table, position it against the wall at the desired height and mark the fixing points. Secure the brackets to the wall, ensuring they are level and properly anchored to bear the full load. Lift the tabletop and frame assembly onto the brackets and bolt it in place. The grid shelf is then slotted into pre-welded supports beneath the tabletop. Once installed, the tabletop is ready for immediate use, with no moving parts to adjust or maintain.
The tabletop is 1800 mm long and 600 mm deep, providing a continuous work surface for food preparation, plating or assembly. The height of 750 mm is a standard worktop height in professional kitchens, matching the height of most hobs, sinks and other equipment. The grid shelf beneath adds 600 mm of depth and the same 1800 mm length, creating a secondary storage area for trays, containers or utensils.
The pressed sandwich construction of the tabletop and the welded stainless steel frame ensure durability and ease of cleaning. The smooth stainless steel surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser, with no seams or joints to trap debris. The grid shelf, also made of stainless steel, allows air to circulate around stored items, reducing condensation and making it simple to clean beneath.
Two versions are available: with or without an upstand. The upstand is a vertical lip along the back edge of the tabletop, preventing spills from running onto the floor or wall. The frame and tabletop are standardised, so the choice of upstand does not affect the overall dimensions or load capacity.
The table is categorised under mounted preparation surfaces in the Novameta professional catering equipment range.
