A wall-mounted stainless steel worktop provides a fixed preparation surface that clears floor space in a professional kitchen. The unit bolts directly to the wall, transferring the weight of ingredients, tools and small appliances to the building structure rather than the floor. This arrangement leaves the area beneath free for mobile trolleys, cleaning or additional storage, while the worktop itself remains at a constant height that matches adjacent equipment and workstations.
The tabletop is formed from a pressed sandwich panel that combines a smooth, hygienic surface with a rigid core. This construction resists sagging under distributed loads, so the worktop stays level even when fully loaded with ingredients or heavy appliances. A welded stainless steel frame beneath the panel reinforces the structure and provides fixing points for the wall brackets. The grid shelf below the worktop holds trays, containers or light equipment within easy reach, keeping the main surface clear for active preparation.
To install the unit, the operator marks the wall at the required height, drills the fixing points and secures the brackets. The worktop assembly is then lifted into place and bolted to the brackets. Once mounted, the tabletop is ready for immediate use; no additional levelling or adjustment is required. The operator loads ingredients, utensils or appliances onto the surface, ensuring the total weight does not exceed the uniform load capacity. The grid shelf below holds smaller items or containers, while the space beneath remains free for other kitchen activities.
The worktop is constructed from pressed stainless steel panels with a rigid core, providing a durable, easy-to-clean surface. The frame is made from 25 x 50 mm stainless steel tube, welded for strength and corrosion resistance. The grid shelf, where fitted, is also stainless steel, matching the frame and worktop for a consistent appearance and long service life.
The 3500 mm length provides a continuous preparation surface that accommodates multiple tasks or large quantities of ingredients. The 600 mm depth offers sufficient workspace without encroaching too far into the kitchen aisle, while the 750 mm height aligns with standard worktop levels in professional kitchens. The 120 kg uniform load capacity allows the surface to support heavy appliances, bulk ingredients or multiple containers without risk of deformation.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the grid shelf can be removed for thorough cleaning if required. The welded frame and pressed sandwich construction minimise crevices where dirt or moisture could accumulate, simplifying daily maintenance.
The table is available in two widths: 650 mm with a 3% tolerance, or 700 mm with a 5% tolerance. Both versions may be specified with or without an upstand, allowing the unit to integrate seamlessly with existing kitchen layouts.
This worktop is categorised as a fixed preparation surface in the Novameta professional catering range, designed for heavy-duty use in commercial kitchens, food production facilities and catering operations.
