A wall-mounted stainless steel worktop provides a stable, hygienic surface for food preparation, storage and plating without occupying floor space. The unit is fixed directly to the wall, transferring its load through a welded frame rather than legs, so the area beneath stays clear for cleaning or for mobile equipment to be rolled in and out. A reinforced shelf below the main tabletop adds organised storage for utensils, containers or ingredients within easy reach of the chef.
The tabletop is a pressed sandwich panel: two sheets of stainless steel enclosing a rigid core. This construction resists bending under load, dampens vibration from chopping or mixing, and keeps the surface level over the full 2000 mm length. A welded stainless steel tube frame runs along the front and sides, providing the strength needed to support the 120 kg maximum load when weight is spread evenly across the top. The frame is fixed to the wall with brackets, so the entire assembly becomes part of the kitchen structure rather than a freestanding piece.
To use the worktop, the operator loads ingredients, tools or plated dishes onto the main surface, keeping within the 120 kg limit. The lower shelf holds smaller items that would otherwise clutter the worktop. Because the unit is wall-mounted, there are no legs to trap debris, and the floor beneath can be swept or mopped without obstruction.
The construction is stainless steel throughout: the pressed sandwich tabletop, the welded tube frame and the wall brackets. The frame tubes measure between 25 mm and 50 mm in section, chosen to match the load and the wall fixing points. An optional upstand can be fitted along the back edge to prevent items sliding off or liquids running down the wall.
The 2000 mm length gives a continuous work surface for large batches or for multiple chefs working side by side. The 600 mm depth provides ample room for preparation without overhanging into the aisle. The 750 mm height is standardised for kitchen worktops, matching the height of hobs, sinks and other fixed equipment so chefs can move between stations without adjusting their posture. The 120 kg load rating means the tabletop can hold bulk ingredients, heavy mixing bowls or stacked trays without risk of sagging or damage to the wall fixings.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry to prevent water spots. The pressed sandwich construction has no seams or crevices where food particles can lodge. The welded frame and wall brackets are accessible for inspection and cleaning, and the open space beneath the shelf allows debris to fall through rather than accumulate.
The worktop is available in two widths: 650 mm with a 3% manufacturing tolerance, or 700 mm with a 5% tolerance. Both versions share the same 2000 mm length, 750 mm height and 120 kg load capacity. An upstand can be added to either width if required.
This wall-mounted table is listed in the Novameta catalogue under work surfaces and preparation stations.
