BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf creates a secure, elevated platform for catering appliances and ingredients without occupying floor space. The shelf is fixed to the wall with brackets, transferring the weight directly to the building structure. This method keeps the worktop clear and allows air to circulate beneath, reducing heat build-up around appliances and making cleaning easier.
The operator positions the shelf at the required height, attaches the two wall brackets to masonry or metal studs, and slides the shelf panel into place. Once secured, the shelf holds equipment, containers or ingredients within easy reach of the worktop or hob. The flat surface spreads the load evenly across the brackets, preventing sagging or tipping under the stated capacity.
The shelf is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to moisture, corrosion and daily wear in a professional kitchen. The single panel measures 1100 mm long, 300 mm deep and 333 mm high, forming a continuous surface that supports appliances or stacked containers without gaps. Two brackets provide the necessary support, distributing the 50 kg load evenly across the wall fixings.
A 50 kg capacity allows the shelf to hold commercial mixers, food processors or bulk ingredients without risk of deformation. The 1100 mm length accommodates standard catering appliances side by side, while the 300 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach of the worktop. The 333 mm height from the wall to the underside of the shelf provides clearance for taps, hoses or power leads beneath.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing grease and food residues without damaging the finish. The absence of joints or crevices simplifies maintenance and meets hygiene standards in commercial kitchens.
Other sizes are available, and custom dimensions can be manufactured to match specific kitchen layouts or equipment requirements.
