BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf creates a secure work surface above the floor without occupying floor space. Two brackets bolt directly to the wall, transferring the weight of appliances and utensils to the building structure. The flat stainless-steel tray spans the brackets, providing a level platform that keeps equipment within easy reach of the operator while freeing the worktop below for other tasks.
The operator positions the shelf at the desired height, marks the bracket locations, drills the fixing points and secures the brackets with suitable wall anchors. The tray is then placed on the brackets and fastened. Once installed, the shelf is loaded with appliances, containers or ingredients up to the stated capacity. The load remains stable during use, and the tray can be wiped down without moving the equipment.
The shelf is constructed from stainless steel throughout, including the tray and brackets. Stainless steel resists corrosion from moisture and cleaning chemicals, does not absorb odours and can be sanitised to meet food-safety standards. The two-bracket design distributes the load evenly, preventing sag and ensuring long-term stability.
A single shelf is supplied, measuring 700 mm wide, 400 mm deep and 333 mm high from the wall to the top of the tray. The 50 kg load capacity allows the shelf to support countertop appliances, bulk ingredients or stacked containers without deformation. The footprint of 700 × 400 mm provides ample space for most professional catering equipment while keeping the unit compact enough for installation in tight kitchen layouts.
Cleaning involves wiping the tray and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent. No disassembly is required, and the stainless-steel surface dries quickly without staining.
Additional sizes are available to match different wall lengths and equipment dimensions. Custom fabrication to individual drawings is offered for non-standard installations.
