BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A double-tier wall shelf provides secure, organised storage for professional catering equipment above the worktop. The shelf is fixed to the wall with brackets, keeping the floor clear and making cleaning underneath straightforward. Each tier holds appliances, utensils or ingredients within easy reach, reducing clutter on the work surface and speeding up kitchen workflows.
The shelf is mounted at a height that allows staff to slide heavy items on and off without lifting from the floor. Three wall brackets distribute the weight evenly, preventing sag and ensuring the shelf remains level under load. The open design allows air to circulate, reducing condensation and keeping stored items dry.
To install, mark the bracket positions on the wall, drill and fix the brackets, then slide the shelf panels into place. Once mounted, the shelf is ready to receive equipment up to the stated capacity. No tools are needed for daily use; items are placed directly on the shelf surface.
The construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to moisture, corrosion and frequent cleaning with commercial detergents. The material does not absorb odours or harbour bacteria, meeting hygiene standards in food production and catering environments.
Controls are not applicable; the shelf is a static structure. The 50 kg load capacity applies to each tier, allowing the shelf to support heavy appliances such as mixers, blenders or bulk ingredient containers. The 1800 mm length provides ample space for multiple items side by side, while the 300 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach. The 666 mm height between the floor and the lower shelf allows for cleaning underneath with a mop or brush.
Cleaning involves wiping the shelf surface and brackets with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Stainless steel does not require protective coatings or special treatments, and the smooth finish prevents dirt from accumulating in crevices.
Variants include different lengths and widths, and custom sizes can be manufactured to match specific kitchen layouts or equipment dimensions.
The shelf is categorised under storage solutions for professional kitchens and food production facilities.
