BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf frees worktop and floor space in a professional kitchen by holding equipment above the work surface. Two brackets bolted to the wall carry a single stainless steel tray, creating a stable platform for appliances, containers or ingredients that must stay within reach but off the main work area. The method keeps the floor clear for cleaning and the worktop uncluttered for food preparation, while the open underside allows air to circulate and prevents trapped moisture.
The operator positions the shelf at a convenient height, fixes the brackets to solid masonry or studwork, and slides the tray into place. Once loaded, the shelf remains static; there are no moving parts to adjust or maintain. The two-bracket design distributes the weight evenly across the wall fixings, reducing the risk of sag or tipping when the full load is applied.
Construction is a single tray of stainless steel supported by two wall brackets, also stainless steel. The material resists corrosion from steam, splashes and frequent washing, and does not harbour bacteria, meeting the hygiene standards of commercial kitchens and food-production areas.
The shelf's 50 kg load capacity allows it to carry heavy appliances such as mixers, blenders or heated holding units, or multiple containers of ingredients. The 1300 mm length provides a continuous run of storage, while the 300 mm depth keeps items within easy reach without overhanging the worktop below. The 333 mm height from bracket to tray sets the clearance above the work surface.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the tray and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent; no disassembly is required. The absence of seams or crevices simplifies the removal of food debris and grease.
Variants in length and width are available, and the manufacturer will produce shelves to individual drawings for non-standard spaces or load requirements.
The shelf is catalogued under wall-mounted storage for professional kitchens and food-processing equipment.
