BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf system holds professional catering equipment securely above the worktop, freeing floor space and keeping appliances within easy reach. Two horizontal trays distribute the weight evenly across two wall brackets, preventing sag and allowing heavy items to be stored side by side without overloading a single shelf. The open design beneath each tray lets air circulate, reducing condensation and making the surface easier to clean.
The operator fits the brackets to a solid wall, levels them, and slides the trays into place. Once loaded, the shelf remains stable under the weight of mixers, blenders, holding units or small ovens, so appliances do not shift during use. The height of 666 mm is chosen to sit just above head level in most kitchens, keeping equipment accessible while staying clear of overhead lights and extractor hoods.
The shelf is constructed from stainless steel, which resists corrosion from steam and cleaning chemicals. Two trays are supplied, each measuring 1000 mm long and 300 mm deep, giving a total footprint of one metre wide. The 50 kg load rating applies to the entire assembly, so the weight must be spread across both shelves rather than concentrated on one.
No controls are fitted; the shelf is a static support. The 1000 mm length suits standard worktop runs, while the 300 mm depth keeps appliances close to the wall without projecting into walkways. The 50 kg capacity allows bulk ingredients, small appliances or stacked containers to be stored without risk of collapse.
Cleaning involves wiping the trays and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The smooth stainless steel surface prevents dirt from adhering, and the open underside avoids trapped debris. Custom lengths and widths can be manufactured to match specific kitchen layouts or equipment dimensions.
The shelf is catalogued under professional storage solutions for commercial kitchens, food production and industrial premises.
