BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf unit supports professional catering equipment above work surfaces, saving floor space and keeping appliances accessible. Two horizontal tiers spread the weight across three vertical brackets, avoiding sag or instability when holding heavy items like mixers or bulk ingredient containers. The shelf fastens directly to masonry or stud walls, shifting the load to the building rather than the kitchen floor, so it does not hinder cleaning or movement of service trolleys below.
Equipment is placed on the shelf with the centre of gravity kept between the brackets. Once loaded, the shelf remains stable without further adjustment; the fixed brackets and rigid stainless-steel build maintain alignment without tools or regular tightening. Each tier holds up to 50 kg, permitting several appliances to be stored side by side without surpassing the specified capacity.
Constructed from stainless steel, the shelf resists moisture, grease and cleaning agents. The material does not corrode, stain or support bacterial growth, complying with hygiene standards in commercial kitchens and food-production environments. The smooth finish allows quick wipe-downs between shifts, and the open design prevents accumulation of dust or debris.
Three wall brackets fix the shelf at equal points along its length, distributing weight and preventing flex. The 300 mm depth offers sufficient room for standard catering appliances while maintaining a compact profile against the wall. The 666 mm height between tiers provides clearance for taller items without blocking access to the lower shelf.
A 50 kg load capacity per tier dictates which appliances can be stored: countertop fryers, blenders or small holding cabinets. The 2300 mm length holds multiple items side by side, reducing the need for extra shelving. The 300 mm depth fits within typical worktop overhangs, keeping the shelf within easy reach without occupying floor space.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to avoid water marks. The open construction allows access to the underside of each tier, removing any trapped debris. Routine maintenance does not require disassembly.
Additional sizes are offered, and custom fabrication to individual drawings is available for non-standard layouts or load needs.
