BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage shelf engineered to hold heavy kitchen equipment, ingredients or utensils without sagging or shifting. The system transfers the load directly to the wall through three sturdy brackets, eliminating the need for floor supports and freeing the worktop beneath for other tasks.
The shelf itself is a flat stainless-steel tray that rests on the brackets. Its smooth surface and rounded edges allow quick wipe-downs between shifts, while the corrosion-resistant alloy withstands constant exposure to moisture, steam and cleaning chemicals. The design complies with food-safety regulations, making it suitable for open kitchens, prep areas and food-production rooms where hygiene is critical.
Installation begins by marking the wall at the desired height, drilling pilot holes and securing the brackets with the supplied fasteners. Once the brackets are level and firmly fixed, the shelf tray is lowered onto them and locked in place. No additional tools are required for assembly. The 2000 mm length spans a typical workstation, providing a continuous platform for multiple containers or appliances.
Three brackets distribute the 50 kg maximum load evenly across the wall, preventing point-loading that could damage plasterboard or masonry. The 300 mm depth offers enough space for standard gastronorm trays, stock pots or bulk ingredients without overhanging into walkways. A single shelf keeps frequently used items within easy reach while maintaining a clean sightline across the kitchen.
The stainless-steel construction resists dents, scratches and discolouration under daily use. Surfaces remain free of rust and staining, reducing the need for abrasive cleaners that can degrade finishes over time. Regular maintenance involves wiping the shelf and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water spots.
Additional shelves, deeper trays or custom lengths can be ordered to match the same bracket spacing, allowing the system to expand as storage needs grow. Novameta also supplies complete project planning, from initial measurements to on-site installation, for kitchens requiring bespoke configurations.
