Novameta Z-BOARD Removable Drainboard for Worktops

A removable drainboard turns a wet worktop into a drying surface that slopes gently away from the sink. Water runs off the board into the basin or onto a tray beneath, keeping the surrounding area dry and safe. The low 20 mm height lets the board sit flush with most worktop edges, so dishes and utensils slide on and off without catching.

The operator places the board across the worktop adjacent to the sink, aligning the perforated surface with the drainage point. After use, the board lifts away for cleaning or storage, leaving the worktop clear for other tasks. Its modular design means sections can be joined to cover longer runs or removed to free up space.

Constructed from stainless steel, the Z-BOARD resists corrosion and stands up to daily washing. The perforations allow water to drain through while supporting plates, pans and trays above. Sold per 100 mm length, the board can be cut to fit specific sink widths or combined to span larger areas.

The 20 mm height ensures compatibility with standard catering sinks and worktops, avoiding gaps that could trap debris or create tripping hazards. Its removable nature simplifies cleaning beneath the board and adapts the workspace to different tasks throughout the day.

Cleaning involves rinsing the perforated surface after use and wiping down with a sanitising cloth. The stainless steel finish prevents staining and allows for scrubbing if food debris accumulates in the drainage holes.
