A stainless steel frame organises four GN1/1 gastronorm containers in a single vertical stack, freeing worktop space and keeping ingredients or prepared dishes within easy reach. The frame does not heat, chill or process food; it simply holds the containers securely on sliding guides so they can be inserted and removed without tipping or spilling.

The operating principle is mechanical support. Each container rests on a pair of horizontal rails that run the full depth of the frame. The rails are spaced to match the standardised flange of a GN1/1 container, so the container slides in smoothly and locks into place. Because the rails are fixed only at the front and back uprights, the space between them is clear, allowing the container to sit flush against the next one below. This vertical stacking turns a row of loose containers into a stable column that can be moved as a unit when the frame is mounted on wheels or placed on a trolley.

To use the frame, the operator slides each GN1/1 container into its guides from the front until the flange engages the rails. The containers are loaded from the bottom up, so the lowest one is inserted first and the highest last. Once all four are in place, the stack is stable and can be lifted by the frame's side handles or rolled on a trolley base. The height of the frame is adjustable at the rear legs, allowing it to be levelled on uneven floors or set to a comfortable working height for a standing operator.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, with welded joints at the corners for rigidity. The front and back uprights are vertical tubes that carry the weight of the containers, while the side rails are flat bars that form the sliding guides. The adjustable legs at the rear are threaded rods with locking nuts, so the height can be set once and then left unchanged.

The frame accepts four GN1/1 containers, each measuring 325 mm by 530 mm. The overall footprint is 415 mm wide and 550 mm deep, fitting neatly on a standard worktop or mobile base. Height ranges from 835 mm to 900 mm, allowing it to be used at counter height or raised to clear a shelf below. The weight of the frame itself is not stated, but the construction is light enough to be moved by one person when empty.

Cleaning is straightforward: the containers are removed, and the frame is wiped down with a damp cloth. Because there are no electrical parts or moving mechanisms, there is no maintenance beyond occasional tightening of the locking nuts on the adjustable legs.
