Gas gyros-grill LPG (PG1202) or natural gas (PG1203)
A gas gyros maker rotates a vertical skewer of stacked meat in front of intense radiant heat, browning the outer layers while the slow spin keeps the interior juicy. Two high-performance burners beneath the skewer generate the heat; their flames are shielded by a perforated fat tray that catches drips and reduces flare-ups.
The operator loads up to 30 kg of seasoned meat onto the 695 mm skewer, stacking it to a maximum height of 430 mm. Once the gas supply is connected and the burners lit, the skewer begins a steady one-revolution-per-minute rotation. Each burner is individually adjustable, allowing the chef to balance the heat across the height of the stack. A Ø 195 mm skewer plate at the base secures the load and transmits the drive from the 230 V motor.
The unit is built entirely of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The fat tray slides out for emptying and is lined with a perforated sheet that separates grease from solids. Overall dimensions are 500 mm wide with the tray in place or 395 mm without it, 650 mm deep, and 920 mm tall including the motor housing.
Controls consist of two gas valves—one for each burner—and a single on/off switch for the skewer motor. The 7 kW power rating reflects the total gas load on the supply line, while the 0.44 kg/h or 0.60 m³/h consumption figures indicate the running cost per hour depending on the gas type.
Cleaning involves removing the fat tray and perforated sheet, wiping down the stainless steel surfaces, and brushing the skewer. The burners should be checked periodically for blockages, and the motor housing kept free of grease build-up.
Two versions are offered: PG1202 for LPG and PG1203 for natural gas, each supplied with the correct jet and regulator for its fuel type.
The product is listed in the professional catering catalogue under gas rotisseries and vertical grills.
