A wood-burning pizza oven creates intense, even heat by burning hardwood logs directly beneath a fireclay hearth. The flames radiate upwards, while the dense fireclay absorbs and re-radiates the heat, producing the high, dry temperatures needed for a crisp, charred crust and quick cooking. Ceramic fibre insulation keeps the heat inside the chamber, so the oven stays hot for hours after the fire has settled, allowing continuous baking without reheating. To start, load seasoned hardwood through the front opening and light it. Once the fire is established, push the embers to one side or to the back to create a clear baking surface. Slide the pizzas onto the fireclay base using a peel, spacing them evenly to allow the heat to circulate. The built-in thermometer lets you monitor the temperature; at 500 °C a pizza cooks in under two minutes. Rotate the pizzas halfway through to ensure even browning. When done, remove them with the peel and close the door to retain heat for the next batch. The oven's front panel is stainless steel, while the rest of the body is black-painted steel. Inside, the chamber floor is lined with fireclay tiles, and an extra layer of aerated concrete beneath the tiles improves heat retention. A ceramic fibre blanket insulates the walls and ceiling. The chimney is fitted with a standard wind and rainproof cap to keep the flue clear in all weather. Controls are simple: the thermometer shows the current chamber temperature, and the door regulates airflow to control the fire's intensity. The oven's footprint of 1100 × 1080 mm fits on most worktops or patios, and the internal chamber measures 720 × 720 × 175 mm, giving enough space for four 350 mm pizzas at once. The total height of 1680 mm allows an operator to load and unload without bending. The included stainless-steel base has four wheels, so the oven can be moved between indoor and outdoor stations without lifting. Cleaning involves brushing out ash and food debris from the fireclay base after each service. The stainless-steel front and painted steel body can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The chimney cap should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear of soot and rainwater. The TITAN is supplied as a single unit with the oven and base assembled. Every component—from the fireclay floor to the rainproof chimney—arrives ready to fire pizzas the moment the oven is wheeled into place.
