Alarm when coffee is ready.
A filter coffee machine brews coffee by gravity: hot water drips through ground coffee held in a paper filter, extracting flavour and aroma without sediment. The water is heated by an element inside the machine, then released in a controlled flow over the coffee bed. Because the water passes through the grounds only once, the coffee remains clear and smooth, free from the oils and fines that boiling or pressure methods can carry over. The serving station beneath the filter basket collects the brewed coffee, keeping it warm without reheating, so the taste stays fresh for hours.
To start the QUEEN MEGA Gold CQX2, place a paper filter in the basket and add ground coffee. Set the brewing volume between 4 and 17 cups using the front control. If the machine is fitted with automatic water filling, connect it to a water supply; otherwise, fill the reservoir manually. The electronic timer begins the cycle, heating the water and dripping it through the coffee. A signal sounds when the coffee is ready. Lift the 2.5 litre serving station from the brewer and carry it to the serving area. The station has a tap for easy pouring and a level indicator tube to show how much coffee remains. The machine includes 25 paper filters to begin service immediately.
The MEGA Gold CQX2 is built as a freestanding unit with a stainless steel exterior. Its footprint of 820 mm by 390 mm fits on most worktops, and its height of 640 mm allows it to slide under standard cupboard shelves. The machine requires a dual 230 V electrical supply, drawing 4.4 kW to heat water quickly for back-to-back brewing. The water capacity is sized for continuous service, and the optional water connection eliminates manual filling during busy periods.
The front panel controls adjust the brewing volume and, on automatic models, set the timer. The serving station's tap dispenses coffee without lifting the container, reducing spills. The level indicator tube lets staff monitor stock without opening the lid, so the coffee stays covered and warm.
The 4.4 kW power rating means the machine needs its own circuit in a commercial kitchen, where it can draw current without tripping breakers. The dual 230 V supply splits the load across two phases, balancing demand on the electrical system. The 2x2.5 litre serving station holds enough coffee for a seminar or buffet line, and the detachable design lets staff serve from any location in the room. The included paper filters simplify setup, and the optional water connection reduces labour during service.
Cleaning follows the parts the machine has. Rinse the serving station after each use to prevent coffee oils from building up. Replace the paper filter after every brew to keep sediment out of the next pot. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to remove spills and fingerprints. If the machine has a water connection, flush the line periodically to clear mineral deposits.
The MEGA Gold CQX2 is available with either manual or automatic water filling. Both versions include one 2.5 litre serving station, and the automatic model adds an electronic timer and ready signal. The machine fits hotels, conference centres, and catering operations where large volumes of coffee are served without reheating.
