This unit provides both storage and display functions, allowing operators to keep dishes, trays and glassware within easy reach while maintaining a tidy serving area. The module stands on castors, enabling it to be positioned or repositioned along a buffet counter without lifting, and locked in place when stationary to prevent movement during service.

The module operates as a mobile storage and staging unit. Under the worktop, an open compartment holds stacks of plates or bowls, while the enclosed cupboard below offers adjustable shelving for taller items or backup stock. The upper section features two open shelves supported by steel brackets, creating a visible display tier that keeps serving items accessible to staff. Doors fitted with anti-lock dampers close smoothly and stay in position, preventing sudden slams that could disturb nearby service.

To use the module, the operator unlocks the brakes on the castors and wheels the unit into the desired position. The adjustable shelf inside the cupboard is set to the required height, and items are loaded onto the shelves and into the open dish compartment. During service, staff retrieve items from the shelves or the open dish area as needed. When service ends, the module is cleared, the brakes are reapplied, and the unit is moved aside for cleaning or restocking.

The structure is finished in laminated wood, chosen for its durability and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen environment. Steel details reinforce critical points such as shelf supports and door hinges, ensuring stability under repeated use. Four 75 mm castors, two with brakes, provide mobility and secure positioning. The module measures 1038 mm wide, 746 mm deep and 1412 mm high, giving it a compact footprint that fits within standard buffet lines while offering substantial internal volume.

The weight of 135 kg reflects the robust construction needed to support stacked dishes and trays without tipping or flexing. This weight also ensures the module remains stable on its castors, even when fully loaded. The laminated wood finish is available in a range of colours, allowing the unit to match existing kitchen decor or brand colours. Optional accessories include foldable dish holders, removable tray slides in wood or stainless steel, and reinforced castors for heavier loads, each configurable to suit specific operational needs.

Cleaning involves wiping down the laminated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the stainless steel components can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaners. The adjustable shelf and removable accessories simplify thorough cleaning of the interior. The castors should be checked periodically for smooth operation and the brakes tested to ensure they hold securely when engaged.
