ROCAM ATHENA TRP Bread Hopper for Professional Kitchens

A bread hopper keeps loaves and rolls organised at room temperature while protecting them from dust and handling. The unit stands on its own feet or can be placed directly on a counter, allowing the kitchen to position it where service is fastest. Bread slides gently down an inclined shelf so staff can reach the next portion without stretching or disturbing the rest of the stock.

The ATHENA TRP is built as a free-standing cabinet with an internal shelf that slopes towards the front. The shelf is made of stainless steel and can be lifted out for cleaning or re-stocking. A door with a softened closure seals the front, reducing noise and preventing draughts from drying the bread. Below the shelf, a removable tray catches any crumbs that fall, keeping the work area tidy without daily sweeping.

To use the hopper, the operator opens the door, removes the crumbs tray, and lifts out the shelf. After cleaning, the shelf is replaced at an angle, the tray is slid back in, and the door is closed. Bread is loaded from the top, sliding down the shelf so the oldest portion is always at the front. The softened door mechanism ensures the door closes quietly and stays shut without a latch.

The cabinet is constructed with an AISI 304 stainless steel internal shelf and a crumbs collector tray that can be removed for emptying. The exterior is finished in laminated wood decors, allowing the unit to match the kitchen's existing furniture. The overall footprint is 915 mm wide, 785 mm deep, and 507 mm high at the top, with a lower section 401 mm high, making it compact enough for tight spaces while still holding a full service load.

Cleaning involves removing the shelf and crumbs tray, wiping both with a damp cloth, and replacing them. The softened door mechanism requires no maintenance beyond occasional checking that it closes smoothly. The unit is available in all laminated wood decors offered in the ROCAM range, allowing it to blend with other ROCAM modules or stand alone on any counter.

The ATHENA TRP can be combined with the ATHENA PV module or used independently on any worktop or counter.
