ROCAM PANDORA Q Cold Display Case for Snacks & Pastries

A refrigerated display case keeps snacks, pastries and desserts chilled without a compressor. Instead of mechanical cooling, cooling packs absorb heat from the air inside the dome. The packs are chilled in advance, then placed in the case; as they slowly warm, they pull heat from the food, extending its safe display life by several hours. The method is silent, needs no power and leaves the interior free of fans or coils, so the food stays visible and undisturbed. The PANDORA Q is loaded from the top. The Plexiglas dome lifts at both ends, giving access to the full width of the aluminium shelf. The shelf sits on a perforated grid that allows cold air to circulate evenly around the food. A built-in thermometer lets the operator check the temperature at a glance. Once the dome is closed, the cooling packs maintain the chill for up to five hours, depending on ambient conditions and how often the dome is opened. The case is built on a stainless-steel frame lined with solid wood veneer in a choice of three standard colours: Natural, Walnut or Wenge. Other colours are available on request. The dome is a single hemispherical piece of Plexiglas, double-hinged for easy opening. An optional set of two extra cooling packs extends the chilling time when needed. The controls consist of a single analogue thermometer mounted on the front panel. It shows the current temperature inside the dome, allowing the operator to decide when to replace the cooling packs or remove the food. The footprint of 693 mm by 570 mm fits on most worktops or counters, while the 357 mm height keeps the food at eye level for customers. The 26 kg weight allows the case to be moved by two people without equipment, though its compact size makes it easy to position on a trolley if needed. The cooling packs themselves are lightweight and can be stored in a standard freezer until use. The smooth stainless-steel frame and seamless Plexiglass dome wipe free of flour dust and fingerprints in seconds, keeping pastry displays spotless between customer rushes. The Plexiglas dome lifts off completely for washing, and the aluminium shelf and perforated grid can be removed for cleaning. The wood-veneer panels are wipe-clean, and the stainless-steel frame resists moisture and staining. The cooling packs are wiped down after each use and returned to the freezer to recharge. The PANDORA Q is available in three standard colours, with additional colours on request. An optional set of two extra cooling packs (EUT2) can be ordered to extend chilling time.
