ROCAM Refrigerated Trolley ZEUS for Chilled Display

A refrigerated trolley designed to keep perishable items chilled while presenting them on the move, the ROCAM ZEUS combines static cooling with a clear display case. A compressor circulates refrigerant gas through coils beneath the well, drawing heat away from the food and maintaining a steady low temperature. This method keeps the contents cool without forced air, avoiding dehydration and preserving texture for delicate items like pastries, cheese or seafood.

The operator loads the 18 cm-deep well with ice or chilled water, then arranges the food on the laminated wood surface. A hemispherical Plexiglass dome with double-opening hinges protects the display while allowing easy access. The digital thermostat is set to hold the temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C, and the compressor cycles on and off to maintain that range. A drain cock at the base of the well lets meltwater or condensation run off without lifting the dome. The trolley is plugged in via a removable cable, and the castors—two with brakes—allow it to be wheeled into position and locked in place during service.

The laminated wood structure provides a stable worktop that can be customised in twenty colour finishes, from silver and rose to anthracite and veined black. The frame supports a 3 GN 1/1 capacity, and optional accessories such as foldable dish holders, lower compartments with doors, or tray slides can be added to suit different service needs. A functional pushing handle at the rear simplifies manoeuvring, while the 125 mm castors ensure smooth movement across kitchen floors.
