Roller-grill WD780D Heating Showcase for Professional Kitchens

A ventilated heating showcase keeps prepared dishes warm and visible without drying them out. The Roller-grill WD780D uses a firestone placed over an Incoloy heating element to accumulate and radiate heat evenly. Two fans circulate the warmed air throughout the cabinet, preventing cold spots and maintaining a consistent temperature across every shelf. This method ensures that meat-based snacks, pastries and delicatessen stay moist and ready to serve for hours.

The operator loads the three supplied wire grids with quiches, pizzas, fondues or pastries. Gastronorm GN 1/1 trays, 400 x 600 mm dishes or American-style pans can also be placed directly on the grids. After closing the rear glass doors, the electronic thermostat is set between 20 °C and 90 °C, adjusting in single-degree increments. An on/off switch starts the heating element, while a separate ventilation switch activates the fans. LED lighting illuminates the interior, making the dishes attractive to customers while keeping them at serving temperature.

The cabinet measures 780 mm wide, 490 mm deep and 640 mm high, fitting on most worktops or counter displays. Its 35 kg weight allows it to be moved with a trolley but is stable once positioned. The 230 V power supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, drawing 1.8 kW when the heating element is active. The internal space of 670 x 433 mm per shelf accommodates three full-size grids or equivalent trays.

Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and withstands daily wiping. The rear glass doors open fully to 180 °C for unobstructed access. All removable parts—the grids and their supports, the lower tray, the water drawer and the firestone—can be taken out for thorough cleaning. The water drawer beneath the heating element maintains humidity, preventing pastries from drying out during service.

Two finishes are available: stainless steel or black. Additional wire grids can be ordered separately. The showcase is delivered with three grids but without Gastronorm trays.
