A heated countertop showcase keeps pastries, quiches and pizza slices warm and visible without drying them out. The unit circulates gentle heat around two separate compartments, each sized for a standard Gastronorm tray. A small water drawer beneath the lower shelf adds moisture to the air, preventing croissants and delicate pastries from hardening during service.
The operator loads the trays through the rear glass doors, which open a full 180° to clear the worktop. Front doors lift upwards for self-service or can be locked open on the staff side for table service. A simple thermostat dial sets the temperature between 20 °C and 90 °C, while an illuminated top panel draws attention to the display. An on-off switch and a separate lighting switch complete the controls.
Inside, two wire shelves rest on removable supports. The stainless-steel lower tray catches crumbs and spills, and the water drawer slides out for refilling. All glass panels lift away, and the stainless-steel parts are dishwasher-safe, so daily cleaning is quick and thorough.
The showcase measures 590 mm wide, 350 mm deep and 480 mm high, fitting neatly on most worktops. Its 18 kg weight allows one person to move it without tools. A 230 V single-phase supply powers the 0.65 kW heating element, matching the standard circuit found in British cafés and bakeries.
Two identical compartments each accept a GN 1/1 tray. The temperature range covers everything from gentle warming to holding cooked items at serving temperature. The 0.65 kW rating keeps the electrical load low enough for continuous use on a shared circuit. Removable parts mean the unit can be stripped down and sanitised at the end of each day without leaving moisture or food debris behind.
