Semi-automatic bread slicer.
A bread slicer produces even slices from whole loaves without damage. The blade operates as a continuous band, guided by rollers to maintain a straight cut. The ROLLMATIC C52 is a semi-automatic counter-top slicer. The operator positions the loaf on the feed tray, aligns it with the guide, and activates the motor. The machine advances the loaf, slices it, and delivers the slices to the exit tray. The process continues automatically until the loaf is fully sliced. A safety guard covers the blade during operation, and the motor halts if the guard is raised. Constructed with a stainless-steel frame, the unit includes a plastic feed tray and guide. The blade is a hardened steel band, tensioned between rollers. The motor, housed in the base, drives both the blade and feed mechanism. Controls include a start button and an emergency stop for immediate power cutoff. The slicer operates on a 400 V three-phase supply, common in professional kitchens and bakeries. Its 0.75 kW power rating suits typical commercial circuits. Weighing between 106 kg and 116 kg, the unit requires a trolley or two people for movement. The dimensions fit on a standard worktop or mobile stand, allowing space for trays and packaging. Stainless-steel blades and a smooth polypropylene body let you wipe down the slicer between loaves without disassembly. The stainless-steel frame and plastic tray can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The blade must be removed, brushed to remove crumbs, and dried before reattachment. Rollers and guides are accessible for wiping or brushing. Electrical components are sealed and should not contact water. The C52 is the larger of two available cutting sizes. The smaller model, the 42, accommodates loaves up to 420 mm wide and is suited for behind-the-counter use in smaller establishments. Both models share identical construction, controls, and operation.
