SAMMIC SAS-5001 Cutlery Dryer-Polisher for Hygienic Tableware

A cutlery dryer-polisher removes moisture and restores shine to forks, knives and spoons after washing. Hot air circulates through a rotating carousel, evaporating water while a polishing agent smooths microscopic scratches. The process leaves cutlery dry, gleaming and ready for immediate use without manual drying or buffing.

The operator loads washed cutlery into the rounded stainless-steel carousel. A single control board sets the drying and polishing cycle; an audible signal confirms the machine is ready to start. Once activated, the heating elements warm the air while the carousel turns, exposing every piece to the flow. A UVC germicide lamp sterilises both the cutlery and the polishing product throughout the cycle. When the programmed time elapses, the machine stops automatically, and a luminous signal indicates completion.

The SAS-5001 is built entirely of stainless steel, including the drying tank and carousel. A probe monitors the polishing product temperature, ensuring consistent results and triggering a luminous warning if the sensor fails. Separate signals show when the heating elements are on, when the polishing product needs replacement, and when the UVC lamp requires servicing. The UVC lamp can be disconnected for thorough cleaning.

The 400 V three-phase supply powers a 1.21 kW motor and heating elements, suitable for a dedicated circuit in a professional kitchen. The footprint of 630 mm by 693 mm (800 mm with door open) fits a standard worktop or mobile stand, while the 130 kg weight requires a sturdy base or castors for safe movement.

Cleaning involves emptying the drying tank, wiping the stainless steel surfaces and disconnecting the UVC lamp for servicing. The automatic stop after each cycle preserves the polishing product, reducing waste and extending its life.
