SAYL CLASSIC V4N Refrigerated Display Case for GN Trays

A refrigerated display case maintains the freshness of prepared dishes while showcasing them through a clear glass cover. Static cooling ensures gentle air circulation, preventing dehydration and preserving the texture of salads, desserts, and cold buffet items.

The CLASSIC V4N accommodates four GN 1/3x40 gastronorm trays side by side. Each tray slides into its guide rail, and the tempered-glass lid closes securely. The electronic thermostat allows temperature settings between +2 °C and +6 °C. A safety timer prevents over-cooling, while hidden sensors monitor the interior and alert if the lid remains open. LED lighting activates automatically when the lid is raised, illuminating the contents without generating heat.

A hermetic compressor and a Danfoss turbo-ventilated double condenser maintain the set temperature. The refrigerant used has a low environmental impact, and the cooling power keeps running costs minimal. A built-in drainage channel collects condensation and cleaning water, directing it to a removable tray for easy disposal. The interior features smooth, non-porous surfaces resistant to acids and standard cleaning agents, enabling quick wipe-downs between service periods.

The case is constructed from stainless steel with a powder-coated exterior available in black, red, silver, oak, or white. The tempered glass lid resists impacts, scratches, and thermal shock, ensuring durability. The unit measures 1085 mm by 395 mm, fitting standard worktops and buffet counters, with a height of 245 mm for easy viewing.

Controls include an electronic thermostat with a digital display and a safety timer. The thermostat adjusts temperature in 1 °C increments, and the timer can switch off cooling after a set interval to protect food if left unattended.

The unit operates on a 230 V supply, matching standard single-phase power in British commercial kitchens. The equipment power rating covers the compressor, lighting, and control circuits, consuming less energy than a typical domestic refrigerator. Its compact size and weight allow it to be moved by two people without specialist equipment.

Cleaning involves removing the drainage tray, wiping the interior with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser, and drying surfaces before replacing trays. The glass lid can be lifted off for thorough cleaning, and the LED lighting is sealed against moisture, requiring no separate maintenance.

The CLASSIC V4N is available in five exterior colours to suit various kitchen décors. It meets Climate Class 3 standards, ensuring reliable performance in indoor food-service environments.
