A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The built-in refrigeration unit circulates cool air through the cabinet without needing an external condenser. Static cooling relies on natural convection: cold air sinks to the bottom, rises as it warms, and cycles continuously. This method avoids moving parts, reducing noise and maintenance, and is well suited to short-term storage where the door is opened frequently but briefly.

The operator loads the cabinet by placing items directly on the flat tempered-glass shelf or on wire racks if fitted. The full-height front glazing allows customers to view products from any angle. Once loaded, the unit is switched on and the thermostat set within the +2 to +6 °C range. The built-in refrigeration unit starts automatically, pulling heat from the cabinet and expelling it through the rear grille. LED lighting illuminates the display, enhancing the presentation without adding heat. The cabinet maintains the set temperature until the goods are removed or the unit is switched off.

The cabinet is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The front, sides and top are glazed with tempered glass, held in place by a protective aluminium profile that also guards against knocks. Four adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring stability.

Controls consist of a thermostat dial that sets the target temperature between +2 and +6 °C. An on-off switch starts and stops the refrigeration unit, while the LED lighting is controlled separately by a rocker switch.

The 1175 mm width provides a compact footprint suitable for worktops or wall-mounted runs, while the 230 V supply matches standard UK commercial circuits. The 180 W cooling power indicates a modest electrical load, keeping running costs low. The +2 to +6 °C temperature range is designed for fresh pastries, desserts and chilled beverages, preserving texture and appearance without freezing.

Cleaning is simplified by the “Easy to Clean” design: smooth stainless-steel surfaces and removable glass shelves allow quick wipe-downs. The protective glass profile prevents damage during daily maintenance, and the static-cooling system avoids filters that would need regular replacement.
