This multifunctional hot display case combines efficient heat retention with convenient access, making it ideal for self-service areas, cafés, and canteens.
Temperature range: up to +70°C
2 GN1/1 (65 mm)
A hot display case keeps prepared food at serving temperature while presenting it to customers. The unit circulates warm air around the interior, maintaining an even heat that prevents drying or cooling. This method preserves texture, flavour and food safety without direct heat from below, so dishes stay ready for service throughout the day. The SAYL MAXISELF CSMX2E is designed for both self-service and double-service layouts. Front and rear openings allow staff to load from one side and customers to serve from the other, or for two-way access in a single line. The operator slides GN1/1 gastronorm trays into the guides, sets the temperature to +70 °C, and leaves the unit to maintain the heat. A removable top glass shelf adjusts the interior height, letting the kitchen adapt the space for taller items or quick cleaning. Construction is AISI 304 stainless steel and tempered glass. The steel resists corrosion and daily wear, while the glass front and sides give a clear view of the food. A compact motor compartment at the rear keeps the footprint small without reducing performance. The drainage system collects condensation and spills, directing them to a single outlet for easy removal. Controls are minimal: a thermostat holds the temperature at +70 °C. The 230 V supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, and the 1210 W load is typical for a unit of this size. The 690 mm width fits between standard worktops or counters, while the 320 mm height allows eye-level display without blocking sightlines. Stainless steel and tempered glass surfaces wipe clean in seconds, letting you switch from breakfast pastries to lunch sandwiches without lingering residues or odours. The stainless steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the glass shelf lifts out for separate washing. The drainage system flushes through with water, removing residue without disassembly. The tempered glass panels resist scratching and thermal shock, so they stay clear after repeated cleaning. The CSMX2E holds two GN1/1 trays at 65 mm depth, giving enough volume for plated meals, buffet items or packaged goods. The +70 °C setting keeps food above the legal minimum for hot holding, while the even heat distribution prevents cold spots.
