SAYL MAXISELF VMX3 Cold Display Case for Self-Service

This cold display case keeps food chilled and visible from both sides, allowing self-service or staff access from the rear. Chilled air circulates evenly across the shelves, maintaining a consistent low temperature without freezing. Warm air is drawn over an evaporator coil, cooled, and recirculated to prevent hot spots and ensure food safety for extended periods, whether positioned against a wall or in the centre of a room.

The unit features front and rear openings for loading. Three GN1/1 slots, each 65 mm deep, accommodate trays. The removable top glass shelf provides flexibility for taller items or easy cleaning. Once trays are in place, the thermostat is adjusted between +2 °C and +6 °C. The compact motor activates automatically, lowering and maintaining the set temperature. A drainage channel beneath the shelves collects condensation and spills, channelling them to an outlet for connection to the kitchen waste system.

Constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel, the case resists corrosion in damp conditions. Tempered glass panels on the front, sides, and top offer clear visibility while shielding contents from ambient air. The motor compartment is compact, minimising floor space and reducing noise.

Operation is straightforward: a thermostat dial sets the desired temperature, and an indicator light shows when the compressor is active. The 0.4 kW power rating allows use with a standard plug. The 230 V supply aligns with typical professional kitchen voltage. The unit measures 1210 mm by 650 mm, fitting neatly along a worktop or island, with a height of 320 mm ensuring the display is at eye level for seated customers.

Cleaning involves removing the trays and top glass shelf. The drainage channel is wiped, and the outlet checked for obstructions. Stainless steel surfaces are cleaned with mild detergent, rinsed, and dried to avoid water marks. Glass panels are treated with a suitable cleaner to preserve clarity. The motor compartment is dusted but kept dry.

The case includes three AISI 316GN 1/6 x 65 mm trays designed for the GN1/1 slots.
