Combining modern design, ergonomic construction, and professional refrigeration technology, this display case provides not only reliable performance but also an attractive presentation of products in any commercial environment. Specifically designed for sushi and cold appetizers.
Temperature range: +2/ +6ºC
A refrigerated display case keeps prepared food chilled while presenting it to customers through clear glass doors. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally from an upper evaporator, eliminating moving parts that could disturb delicate items like sushi. The evaporator draws heat from the cabinet without a fan, maintaining a gentle, even temperature that prevents dehydration and preserves texture. A static system also reduces energy use and noise, making it suitable for front-of-house areas where quiet operation matters.
The SHARK SUSHI 1P SK8S is built for GN 1/3x40 gastronorm trays. The operator loads up to eight trays into the stainless-steel tank, sets the digital thermostat between +2 and +6 °C, and closes the tempered folding glass doors. High-power LED lighting illuminates the contents without adding heat, so colours remain true and appetising. A water collection tray beneath the evaporator catches condensation automatically, requiring only periodic emptying.
The interior is deep-drawn AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners, allowing quick wipe-downs between service periods. The exterior dimensions of 1680 mm wide, 395 mm deep and 270 mm high create a slim countertop footprint that fits between existing equipment. A flat top surface provides additional workspace for plates or garnishes.
Controls consist of a Sayl-Blue digital thermostat that displays the current temperature and allows precise adjustment within the +2 to +6 °C range. The unit operates on a 230 V single-phase supply, drawing 95 W for general operation and 180 W for cooling.
A temperature range of +2 to +6 °C keeps raw fish, sushi rice and cold appetisers safe without freezing. The 1680 mm width accommodates eight GN 1/3x40 trays side by side, matching standard sushi-plating layouts. The 270 mm height allows customers to view the food without stooping, while the 395 mm depth keeps the case within reach for staff.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel interior with a damp cloth, emptying the water collection tray, and occasionally defrosting the evaporator if ice builds up. The LED lighting requires no replacement.
The SHARK SUSHI 1P SK8S is a single-door model in climate class 3, using refrigerant R600a. It is catalogued under refrigerated display cases for professional catering.
