An induction hob that heats only the cookware, not the surface, using electromagnetic fields to transfer energy directly into pots and pans with magnetic bases. This method delivers instant, precise temperature control while keeping the surrounding area cool, reducing energy waste and improving safety. The hob activates only when compatible cookware is placed on it, eliminating accidental heat and conserving power.

The hob features four standard cooking zones and two Flex zones, allowing large or elongated pans to span multiple zones for even heat distribution. Each zone is controlled independently via Slider Touch panels, where a single swipe adjusts power levels smoothly. A Power Boost function temporarily increases output for rapid boiling or searing, while individual timers for each zone can be set up to 99 minutes, automatically switching off the zone when time elapses. The hob also includes automatic shut-off for safety if a pan boils dry, overheats, or is removed, and a child safety lock prevents unintended operation.

Operation begins by placing a magnetic-based pan on a zone, which the hob detects automatically. The user selects the zone and adjusts power via the touch slider, with red LED lights displaying the active setting. Flex zones are activated by placing larger cookware across the designated area, merging the zones into a single heating surface. The timer is set by pressing the timer button and sliding to the desired duration, while Power Boost is engaged with a dedicated button for short bursts of high heat.

The hob is constructed from a single sheet of matt black glass with a bevelled front edge, designed to minimise visible scratches and fingerprints. The glass surface extends across the entire 60 cm width, with touch controls embedded beneath. The hob is built to fit a standard 560 x 490 mm cut-out, with overall dimensions of 590 x 520 mm and a depth of 62 mm. The unit weighs 9.56 kg, with the glass plate alone weighing 7.84 kg, making it stable on a worktop or built into cabinetry.

The 7.4 kW power rating requires a 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase supply, suitable for professional kitchen circuits. The matt black finish and minimalist design allow the hob to integrate into both modern and traditional kitchen layouts, while the red LED display provides clear visibility of settings. The glass surface is easy to clean with a ceramic hob cleaner, maintaining its appearance and hygiene.

The hob includes automatic pan detection, safety shut-off, and a child lock, all managed through the touch controls. The Flex zones expand cooking flexibility without additional complexity, and the Power Boost function reduces waiting time for high-heat tasks.
