An impulse display freezer keeps products visible and accessible to shoppers, turning casual browsing into immediate sales. Cold air is drawn from the base, circulated by a fan across the evaporator coil, then pushed up the rear wall and across the glass shelves. The sliding glass lid traps the cold air inside while letting customers see every item from the aisle. Because the air is constantly moving, every shelf stays at the same temperature, so products at the front chill as quickly as those at the back.

The IMC1000BD switches between two temperature zones at a single touch. In freezer mode it holds stock at -22 to -18 °C, preserving frozen goods for weeks. A hot-gas defrost cycle runs automatically, melting ice from the coil without manual intervention, so the unit stays frost-free and energy-efficient even during heavy daily use.

Loading is done from the top. Slide the glass lid open, place products on the shelves, and close the lid. The electronic control panel on the front edge shows the current temperature and lets the operator toggle between freezer and chiller settings. Two horizontal LED frame lights illuminate the interior, making colours vivid and labels easy to read. When the shop layout changes, the unit rolls on four heavy-duty wheels, two of which lock to hold it in place. Adjustable feet level the cabinet on uneven floors.

The cabinet is built from black-coated steel, inside and out. The sliding lid is tempered glass, giving a clear view of the contents. Inside, the shelves are wire racks that allow air to circulate freely. The refrigerant is R290a, a hydrocarbon that cools effectively while having a low environmental impact.

Controls are simple: an on-off switch, a temperature display, and a mode button that toggles between freezer and chiller settings. The LED lights have their own separate switches, so they can be turned off during cleaning or when the shop is closed.

A 230 L volume means the unit can hold several days' stock of impulse items without restocking. The external dimensions of 1140 mm wide, 1160 mm deep and 1070 mm high fit into most retail floor plans, while the internal height of 760 mm gives enough clearance for tall products. The 189 kg weight requires two people to move it safely, but once in place the wheels and brakes make fine adjustments easy. A 220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply is standard for UK commercial circuits, and the 0.850 kWh per 24 hours consumption keeps running costs predictable.

Cleaning is straightforward. The glass lid slides out for washing, and the wire shelves lift off for scrubbing. The hot-gas defrost system reduces the need for manual defrosting, but when it is required the interior surfaces are smooth and easy to wipe down. The LED lights are sealed units, so they do not collect dust or require maintenance.
