A ventilated refrigerator keeps food chilled by forcing cold air through the cabinet with a fan. The fan draws air over an evaporator coil, lowering its temperature before circulating it evenly across every shelf. This method prevents hot spots and speeds up cooling after the doors are opened, so the internal climate recovers quickly and energy use stays controlled.
The operator loads the refrigerator by sliding trays or pans onto the six adjustable GN2/1 shelves. The digital control panel on the front sets the target temperature between -2 °C and +8 °C. Once the doors are closed, the fan starts automatically, pushing cold air through the cabinet until the set point is reached. A door switch stops the fan whenever a door is opened, cutting cold-air loss. The doors swing to 120° and stay open until pushed back past 90°, then close gently on their own to keep the temperature stable.
The cabinet is built from stainless steel: AISI 304 inside for hygiene and corrosion resistance, AISI 201 outside for strength. Six epoxy-coated shelves support up to 40 kg each, and the legs adjust from 125 mm to 200 mm to level the unit on uneven floors. The hinges can be reversed to suit the kitchen layout, and the magnetic door gasket seals tightly when closed. A front ventilation grille and a bottom panel with water drainage simplify cleaning.
A 922 L volume gives space for large batches of prepared food, while the 172 kg weight means the unit must be positioned before delivery. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply matches standard UK commercial circuits. Energy Class C reflects the balance between cooling performance and electricity use, with the 2.73 kWh per 24 hours showing the daily load on the kitchen's power.
Cleaning involves removing the shelves, wiping the interior with mild detergent, and rinsing the drainage channel. The magnetic gasket can be taken off for thorough cleaning or replacement. The refrigerant R600a is pre-charged at 100 g, so no additional filling is needed during routine maintenance.
