Schaerer Milk System Cleaning Powder in Single Doses

A milk circuit in a fully automatic coffee machine draws milk from a container, froths it and dispenses it into the cup. Over time, milk residue builds up inside the tubes, valves and steam wands, turning rancid and clogging the narrow passages. Cleaning powder dissolves these residues by breaking down the fats and proteins that milk leaves behind.

The Schaerer milk system cleaning powder comes in a single pack of fifty 10 g doses. The pack is organised as a dispenser: the operator pulls each dose from the bottom, so the next dose is always ready. The first forty doses are alkaline, which saponifies the fats; the last ten are acidic, which neutralises the alkaline residue and removes mineral deposits that can form in hard-water areas.

To clean the milk circuit, the operator places one 10 g dose into the machine's cleaning container, fills it with warm water and starts the cleaning programme. The machine pumps the solution through the milk circuit, dissolving residue and flushing it out. After the alkaline cycle, the operator repeats the process with an acidic dose to complete the cleaning and restore the circuit's internal surfaces.

Each dose is a single-use sachet, eliminating measuring and ensuring the correct concentration every time. The pack is designed for Schaerer fully automatic coffee machines with milk systems, matching the manufacturer's recommended cleaning routine.

The dosing pack is stored in a dry cupboard and used within the shelf life printed on the packaging. Once opened, the pack should be kept sealed to prevent moisture from clumping the powder.
