Electromechanical ice cream maker with automatic extraction

An electronic batch freezer transforms liquid mix into ice cream by freezing it while stirring. A refrigeration unit cools the vertical tank, and a rotating mixer with a rasp blade scrapes the frozen layer from the walls, folding air into the mix to create a smooth, creamy texture. The process continues until the desired consistency is reached, allowing ingredients to be added through a double lid without stopping the mixer.
The operator loads the liquid mix into the vertical tank, selects one of over fifty pre-set programmes on the graphic display, and starts the cycle. During operation, the transparent lid lets the operator monitor the mixing state. Once the cycle completes, the finished ice cream is removed from the tank. The unit's inverter and electronics regulate the freezing speed and mixing intensity, ensuring consistent results.
The BFX1500 is constructed with a stainless steel frame and rounded corners for safety. All food-contact parts are made of stainless steel or non-toxic polyethylene, including the long-lasting mixer blade. These components are designed for easy removal and access during cleaning. The exterior features a double lid for ingredient addition while the mixer runs.
Controls include a graphic display for programme selection, acoustic and visual malfunction indicators, and a PC connection port for adjusting board parameters. The unit operates on a 400 V three-phase supply, suitable for commercial kitchens with appropriate electrical infrastructure. Its 600 mm width and 325 kg weight require a stable floor and planned positioning to accommodate its footprint.
The freezer offers a water-cooled model as standard, with optional air cooling or combined air-water cooling variants available. It produces up to 21 litres of ice cream per cycle and 150 litres per hour, supporting continuous production in gelato shops, patisseries, and restaurants.
Cleaning involves removing and washing the mixer blade, tank, and any detachable food-contact parts. The design ensures all components are easily accessible, reducing downtime between batches.
