Electronic control
A microwave oven heats food by sending electromagnetic waves through it. The waves make water molecules vibrate, creating heat inside the food without warming the surrounding air. This method cooks or reheats dishes quickly and evenly, which is essential in a busy kitchen where speed and consistency matter. The operator places the dish on the turntable, selects one of three power levels, and sets the timer up to 1 hour 40 minutes. Twenty programmes can be stored, each with three steps, so repetitive tasks such as thawing, reheating or cooking batches are automated. Polycarbonate GN 1/2 gastronorm trays from 65 mm to 150 mm deep fit inside, allowing standardised containers to move directly from refrigerator to oven. The chamber and outer housing are made of stainless steel for durability and hygiene. Internal dimensions of 335 mm by 364 mm by 212 mm determine the size of dish that can be accommodated. Controls include a power selector, a digital timer, programme memory keys and a start button. The 230 V connection matches the standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens, while the 1000 W rating indicates the load on that circuit. A 25 L volume provides enough space for a full gastronorm tray or several smaller dishes at once. The footprint of 520 mm wide, 442 mm deep and 312 mm high fits on a worktop or under a shelf, leaving room for other equipment. After each service the seamless stainless-steel chamber rinses clean under the tap, leaving no seams or crevices where food residue could linger. The turntable and support ring lift out for separate washing. No other maintenance is required beyond occasional checks that the door seal remains intact and free from food debris.
